Lang Studio Design is a boutique interior design firm located within Studio88, specializing in creating spaces that are both functional and comfortable, representing the client’s vision. Services fit projects of all sizes and budgets, ranging from design concept to full-scale renovation.
With 15 years of experience under her belt founder and lead designer Betty Lang eats, sleeps and breathes interior design. Her design chops range from model homes to large-scale casino and hotel projects, commercial offices and residential. Coming from a family of restaurateurs, her passion for food and design has given her a special edge in the world of hospitality design. As a formal floral designer, Betty brings a natural touch to her designs, which she describes as modern organic. She loves to mix colors and textures to bring depth to her projects, and tries to incorporate mid-century modern pieces in whenever possible.
Betty earned her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of California – Orange County. Before opening her own firm, she honed her skills working for companies like Friedmutter Group and FKA Studio in California, and Cleo Design in Las Vegas. She’s always searching for the latest and greatest in the food and art scene, as well as new travel destinations to feed her soul and keep her inspired. When she’s not tirelessly working on a project, she loves to listen to music and binge watch her favorite shows. She currently lives in Orange County with her three houseplants and family of succulents.

Susan Thiel has always had a curiosity and love of design and adventure. After spending most of her career working for a Fortune 100 company, she decided to follow her passion, launching Susan Thiel Interior Architecture & Design in 2008.
A second generation designer, Susan grew up in epicenters of design and architecture during her formative years in both Chicago and San Francisco. It was then she grew up watching her award-winning designer mother build numerous homes, and the seed was planted. She has now taken on that same role, as an award-winning designer, as well as general contractor, working on projects throughout California and beyond.
Susan enjoys traveling the world with a creative curiosity, once spending four weeks at sea and a month hiking the Washington Forest with Outward Bound. Through these adventures, she has honed her incredible skill of detail, color and materials. She now lives in Dana Point, Calif.
Professional member of American Society of Interior Designers.
